Asian Slaw with julianne apples – Chef Mike Silber

1 bag angel hair shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 an apple
1-2 Tbsp Heavenly Sesame oil
3 Tbsp Heavenly Honey Ginger balsamic
1/4 cup Heavenly Persian Lime olive oil
2 tsp sugar
Salt optional
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
2 scallions sliced diagonally
1/2 tsp minced jalapeno
1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Slice apple as thin as possible, then cut into julienne (long, thin) strips.
Place apple, cabbage, carrots and scallions in a bowl.
Add sugar and toss to coat.
Let sit for 10 minutes.
In separate bowl mix seeds, jalapeno, oils and balsamic vinegars.
Pour over cabbage/apple mixture and toss.
Chill for 30-60 minutes before serving.
