2 lbs sliced apples – Jonathan or Granny Smith
1 cup water
2/3 cup Heavenly Butter olive oil
1/3 cup Heavenly Cinnamon Pear balsamic
½ cup brown sugar
Ice Cream – optional
Peel and slice apples.
In a skillet or stock pot, add water and apples.
Cook over medium high heat 4-5 minutes.
Add Butter olive oil and brown sugar.
Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring every minute or two for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Add Cinnamon Pear Balsamic and cook an additional 2 minutes.
Cook until apples are al dente (slightly firm).
Serve alone, over vanilla ice cream, or to top a pork chop.
